Wir verbrachten unseren Urlaub in „Apolline” vom 1. bis zum 9. März. Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Der Ort ist wirklich unglaublich. Mit nicht einer sondern zwei Gartenküchen, einer Küche im Haus und einem Barbecue-Bereich wollten wir das Haus eigentlich gar nicht verlassen. Das frische Obst und Gemüse, das uns der Hauseigentümer Franco so gut wie täglich vorbeibrachte, hat die Sache nicht einfacher gemacht! Das Anwesen bietet alles und noch mehr: Angefangen von der Inneneinrichtung, bei der die Eigentümer weder Zeit noch Geld gespart haben, um „Apolline” in ein luxuriöses, gleichzeitig aber typisch sizilianisches Heim zu verwandeln! Der wenige Schritte entfernte kleine Strand verwandelte unseren Aufenthalt in eine unvergessliche Erfahrung. Es fehlen jegliche naturferne Geräusche, man wird vom Meeresrauschen in den Schlaf gewogen und von den Sonnenstrahlen wach geküsst. Wir hatten auch das Vergnügen, die lokale Küche kennen zu lernen. Franco kennt den Hersteller eines hervorragenden Rotweins und des besten Olivenöls, das ich je gekostet habe: Fragen Sie unbedingt nach einer Flasche „Le Case di Lavinia”. Ein paar Tage nach unserer Ankunft hat Angela, die zu unserer Überraschung perfekt deutsch spricht, das gesamte Haus geputzt, auch das kostenlos, und uns die besten lokalen Rezepte gegeben. Ich kann nur sagen, dass die ganze Reise jeden Cent wert war und wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen werden! Meine Familie und ich können „Apolline” und seine wunderbaren Eigentümer nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Villa nicer than the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised. Standard over all was very high. Sleeping was very comfortable with nice beds, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Much higher than typical standard experienced in previous trips to Italy. Setup of Villa was very well thought out. Everything for the beach, setup of kitchen, etc. Once again, high standard. Beach was also better than expectations. Not crowded, and perfect for young kids. Excellent size for 4 adults and 2 children. Garden was beautiful and kids enjoyed it a lot.

Appoline is a lovely retreat offering superb comfort for mellow days in the sun. We have spent relaxing days in the comfortable housing. Early mornings with a small Italian breakfast before spending the day in the crisp clear water. The garden offers lots of tumblingground for the kids beforing heading to the beach. In the evenings the outside kitchen is perfect to cook the delicacies from Pozzalo or Ispica. By car, we have also easily explored the surrounding villages and towns.

La Torre Badia e' davvero deliziosa, piccola ma molto carina e anche romantica. Nonostante sia vicino alla villa dei proprietari, ti permette comunque di rimanere abbastanza isolati e di avere molta privacy. I propietari sono fantastici e sempre disponibili ad aiutarti e darti consigli. Antonio (proprietario) ci ha invitati a fare un giro della villa e ci ha offerto un'aperitivo fantastico con un sacco di cibo meraviglioso...
Una delle cose che ho particolarmente apprezzato e' che quandi siamo arrivati ci siamo trovati tutto il necessario per la colazione, dal pane alle fette biscottate, biscotti, caffe', latte e persino marmellate fatte in casa (fantastiche) e miele. Tutto perfetto quindi.

The SoloSicily service was perfect: easy to navigate website that provided all of the information necessary to make a decision; quick and to the point responses to any questions that we had; good guidance through the process; excellent information navigating us to the rented place and about Sicily; appropriate representation of the property. (...) About Badia Tower and our stay in western part of Sicily: From the beginning till the very end it was a great experience! We immediately felt welcomed and we truly appreciated thoughtfully provided in the kitchen basic snacks and drinks, so we could relax after "red-eye" trip from New York. The Badia Tower is a clean and comfortable place for two, surrounded by exotic, beautiful garden, with private outdoor space under canopy of luscious bougainvillea, and with morning wake up call from chorus of birds. (...) Within more or less 1 hr drive we had amazing richness of places to visit. Some of the most appreciated by us were beautiful towns of Marsala, Mazara del Vallo, Salemi, and Castellmmare del Golfo. Trapani has beautiful old town, and Erice can easily compete with San Gimignano in Tuscany. There are ruins of ancient towns and doric temples, remains of Norman castles, romanesque and gothic churches, and beautiful beaches... We loved the amazing nature reserve Zingaro with hiking trails and pristine stone beaches in small coves. And people: warm and friendly, patient and helpful... And food: fresh fish backed in salt, couscous with seafood, arancini... And wine: grillo...

We really enjoyed our stay at Cantine Virzi and Sicily. It was so relaxing and chilled at the vinyard that we only left to get ice cream and a few groceries a couple of times. We ate there every day and really enjoyed the freshly prepared meals served at the restaurant on site. Carmen (caretaker in grounds) and her son Alex were wonderful hosts in the restaurant and were great with our two boys. Carmen prepared the food with great care and we tried dishes we never had before and enjoyed them immensely. Ref the cottage we stayed in – we liked its rustic charm and it was cleaned every day and plenty of fresh towels every day also. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay – ie kitchen area , air conditioning and a great big bed – we slept so well. The pool was great too and we spent most of our days chilling there and it had a large gazebo area to relax in the shade when the heat became a bit to much. The views around the vinyard are beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sun set with a bottle of the Spadafora wine each evening. My husband and I had been working v long hours in the months before we went away and our stay at Spadafora was just what we need to unwind from the stresses of modern life. It was truly lovely.
I found the soloSicliy website very user friendly and well presented and the service offered by your company excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend solo Sicily to my friends and family and Cantine Virzi

We spend a very nice holiday at Casa Blu in Scopello. The house was very beautiful, the equipment was very complete and the location was splendid. After every daytrip it was a pleasure to refresh in the little swimming pool/ jacuzzi. The owner was very kind and very useful in her information about the region and his history. The location of Casa Blu was perfect to discover the large region of Palermo with his ancient and middle age places. Sicily and the very kind people we met, made a very marvelous impression to us. It was our first stay in Sicily, but we will surely come back in the future.

We really enjoyed our holiday. The accommodation at Casa Blu was very comfortable and the view was spectacular. Renata (property owner) made a big effort to make us welcome and introduce us to Sicilian culture. We particularly enjoyed Castellamare del Golfo and San Vito lo Capo, Segesta temple and Erice. Scopello and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to stay.
You should make more of Scopello itself on your website as it was a charming village and on a Sunday it was great to see all the Sicilian people sitting and chatting together. I think Scopello and Castellamare del Golfo gives a true picture of Sicily. It is not too touristy but at the same time the people are very welcoming.
The information pack you sent us was very useful and helped in getting from the airport to Scopello. We would definitely recommend SoloSicily to anyone who wanted to travel to the island.

The house was very charming and was perfect for a family with two young children(6 & 8). It was clean and tidy on arrival and the owner (Renata) was there to meet us despite us not arriving until 11pm. She actually drove to the bottom of the road to ensure we were able to find the house which was very helpful. The view is spectacular and is the best we have ever had when on holiday anywhere in Europe. We also appreciated the small touches such as the hamoc under the tree, the incredibly well equiped barbecue/external kitchen area, the well tended garden and the mini furniture for children. We would happily recommend Casa Blu to any of our friends.
Your site is excellent and easy to naviagate. The pictures really acurately depicted Casa Blu which is what sold the house to us. I also though the pre arrival detail was excellent with the direction detail being the best I've had and very easy to use.

We had a great time in Casa d'Eraclea and really enjoyed our stay. The pool and outdoor area and the view were fantastic. Better than on the pictures. The owner was also very friendly and helpful, and we were glad to find that the restaurants on the beach was ok, in particular Lido Garibaldi served excellent food. The e-travel pack was really nice (...) we had a great stay, thanks to the fantastic outdoor area, the views, the beach, the sea and the sun.

Let me start off by saying that we had an absolutely fantastic time at this villa. We arrived with a smile and left the same way. The villa itself lies in the middle of a lemon, orange, and olive plantation and vineyard. (I saw the biggest lemon of my life here, it was half a foot long!) Not only were we left undisturbed by noise and pollution for the entire week, but we also had a fantastic view of the snow-covered Etna Volcano for seven days. It proved to be exactly what we were looking for.
We were extremely impressed with the way Casa Etna was furnished. Everything was new and clean. Each of the bedrooms had its own unique antique picture collection and it was pretty obvious to us that the owner of the place had renovated it with a lot of passion. The housekeeping service was exceptional as well. As much as I hate to admit it, we didn't have to lift a finger all week long. On three evenings, we dined out on the patio. It never got any colder than 13 degrees, which was a big plus. On one of the evenings, we decided to spoil ourselves and solicited the villa's exclusive cook service. We had asked for a "Sicilian" dinner and ate ourselves giddy. The dinner was heavenly and we feasted on dishes that were out of this world (one of them was a delectable salad with fennel and oranges). We probably would have done it every evening had we not been on a budget.
We were very happy with soloSicily as well. You called in cordially to check if everything was alright twice. And the one time we had to call you because a lightbulb in one of the bedrooms broke, you had someone from the property come replace it for us within 10 minutes. I would highly recommend Casa Etna to anyone looking for a quiet holiday in the Sicilian countryside. The villa not only met our expectations, it overdelivered them.

Singore & Singora Biondi (property owners) were exceptionally warm and generous upon our arrival. We arrived in Cefalu without difficulty, driving from Palermo airport... to the beautiful villa & had a marvelous stay for one week. One of our party speaks Italian, & the Biondi's spent hours with us that afternoon & even took us to the local Super Market & gave us recommendations for places to eat & other important information. We could not have had better hosts & the villa and accommodations were great! the view is extraordinary. I am impressed with the grounds which were multi-levels and extremely detailed in construction. I took many pictures and hope to include some of these ideas in a "county home" of my own. the outdoor kitchen & dining area on the second terrace was beautiful, but we didn't have time to use the grill or oven. The indoor kitchen was easy to use & we appreciated having an electric dishwasher. Rooms (VERY COMFORTABLE BED & MATTRESS) and bathrooms were adequate, no complaints. My wife & I loved all of the tile floors and counters throughout the villa. Doors, windows and window hardware were remarkable; very interesting with detail and workmanship. I marveled at the detail and workmanship of the construction of the villa and grounds. I CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK.
Also, thank you soloSicily for your services during our vacation. Antonio (property manager partner) was very helpful when the water went out, making phone calls and calling us back with the procedure for resetting the water supply.

I had the most amazing time whilst in Sicily and your apartment, Corte Regina Sibilla in Caltabellotta, is truly wonderful and very comfortable as well. Attention for every single detail and its stunning location allowed me to enjoy panoramic views of the town. Caltabellotta is a place where life flows slowly so relaxing there is just so easy. There is so much to see though, so many churches to visit and excellent fish restaurants at the close Sciacca.

Even if you had not send us an e-mail I would have contacted you to let you know what a fantastic week we had in Caltabellotta. The house was much more that we expected and the owners Dore and Miranda Terrasi (property owners) were the best host and hostess you can ever have. I have to read the description again but I think it does not do it justice. It is hard to describe what you will find in Corte Regina Sibilla. What a lot of history and so full of antiques. I hope they will get the "right" visitors" who will appreciate the house and its content. Since we were there during Easter we experienced a lot of celebrations which are unique for Sicily I understood.
We loved the Island and did quite a bit of driving on the Island. Great history there and lots to see and do. The information you provided in your travel package was very helpful.
The directions you gave us were fantastic. We had no trouble getting to Sciacca. What a surprise when you come from the Sciacca side. From the other way you can see the town from afar. It was fantastic how it was "glued" to the rock.ll in all it was a great experience and enjoyed by the four of us.
Your website is very clear and very well done. I still like going back to it and look at your "properties" even though we may never get back there. Keep up the good work!

We spent a great week at Villa Elena - having been renting villas for a few years now, this is the first time that it looked exactly like the photos and definitely exceeded our expectations. We couldn't fault a thing. There is so much room everywhere you never feel on top of each other. The place was spotless and coming down every morning to find the kitchen clean and tidy was a great bonus. The kitchen is perfect for family cook-ins, we even tried the pizza oven but fortunately had other food cooking on the bbq as well! Fresh herbs grown in the garden for our use was a lovely touch. If we come to Sicily again we would definitely use soloSicily - they couldn't have been more helpful.

We had a very good holiday. The villa was fantastic – even better than what we had hoped. Unfortunately the weather was not that good, although we could enjoy the sun for at least a couple of days. A couple of positive things I would like to mention: Nice villa, very well equipped and very well serviced (daily cleaning, direct resolution of problems by housekeeper), nice garden.· Friendly support from you, the house keeper and the lady who was there when we arrived (Hetty). Good information in the villa: restaurants, local information. Good / smooth service from soloSicily: reservation, payment, travel pack, advise on small things, changing of the rooms, etc. All highly appreciated.
On the down side (if I would need to mention any): Of course we did not like it that we could not go to our villa that we had chosen originally. It was a bit silly that we had to change our plans just a couple of weeks before when we had already booked all flights – however, you resolved this in a professional way.

What a wonderful place, we were all enchanted by it. We had everything we could ask for, and apart from buying food we could easily have stayed there and not gone anywhere! Although our children are all between 25 and 38 they had a great time in the pool playing games with all the equipment, and really enjoyed the television room with the videos! The only fault we could find was that perhaps it would have been nice to have some furniture on the balconies in case of rain. We did have one and a half cloudy days but it did not spoil our holiday at all. The bedrooms were absolutely fabulous and each couple having our own bathrooms was great. We did find, however, that if we all had a shower at the same time then the water was on the short side. BUT as there are obviously houses around us with no drinking water at all, we were quite happy to run showers in relays!! There were a couple of nice Sicilian restaurants nearby and we had some lovely meals there.
We used the bbq and pizza oven and had great fun inventing our own pizzas!
We found your directions to the Villa very good and did not get lost on the way there!
We would thoroughly recommend Villa Elena to anyone who would be interested in going there. Maybe we will come back again one day, perhaps with some grandchildren if we are lucky!!!!!
We also are very satisfied with the good service supplied by SoloSicily.

I just want to say what a wonderful time was had in what is a beautiful part of the country. My mothers 60th was filled with amazing food from local markets in Scopello and fabulous sights such as Scopello Fishing village, the rolling hills with vines ready for the press and the San Vito Lo Capo. Our beautiful Villa was remote yet by the sea. We were either greeted with a warm breeze in the morning or ready for a day of hot clear sky weather. The villa was perfect as our family were able to relax and do everything on our terms. We were surprised at how well equipped the villa was which made my Italian cooking attempt all the more real. I do believe if you can stretch your money a little further instead of those awful package deals on the internet then this is the place. True heaven. I will never not book an exclusive Villa again. Oh and the check in and check out was a breeze. The informative e-pack was very handy. Thanks soloSicily, hope to see you again!

Villa grace was everything we thought it would be and then some!! The location is outstanding with the magnificent views of the Mediterranean and Aeolian Islands, and the closeness to the small village of San Giorgio. By the end of our two weeks we felt like we had become part of this little community. The owners were wonderful - made sure that we had all that we needed and made numerous visits to bring us little gifts - we felt like they were family!! We would definitely return to Villa Grace but make our stay even longer. An outstanding property.

I am glad to say that I have no negative feedback whatsover regarding the property, the staff or the manager. We all had a wonderful time, we originally were slightly concerned that having the caretaker and his wife living at the property would make us feel slightly awkward and at first we didn't like to use the kitchen (which was wonderfully well equipped) in case we were in the way but once we realised that we were free to do so it was fine. Franco, the caretaker and Caterina were very helpful and courteous to us, and despite our speaking no Italian and they limited English we did manage to communicate with each other. We all had a wonderful tour of The Abbey at Santa Maria Del Bosco which we all found very interesting too. We will definitely be looking to return to Sicily next summer and will be visiting your website to look at other properties for 14 people early in the New Year. Finally thank you so much for organising the birthday cake and Asti Spumante for Katie on our first night it was a great surprise to her and the cake was absolutely delicious!

The villa was lovely, the views are amazing. I enjoyed quite a few bottles of wine on the terrace, i just couldn't get enough of those amazing views.
We really did feel like we had stepped into Sicilian life. Caltagirone is a wonderful city, and without many if any tourists, which is what we like. The food was good and the kids enjoyed trying out specialities.
I would also like to comment on Guiseppe (property manager). This man was an absolute darling and looked after us so very well, I think he actually made the holiday. From the moment we met him he made us feel warm and very welcome. We also met his mother who was too very very nice and very warm. Please pass on our comments to him and say a huge big thank you for making us feel at home in Sicily.
Also a big thankyou for the ceramic jug. We will treasure this forever.

We had a wonderful holiday in Villa Leticia and the facilities were even better than we expected. We wanted to be able to cook whilst we were on holiday and the whole villa appeared to have been created with this in mind, from the layout of the property and the outdoor kitchen to the amount of kitchen equipment that was available to use. The garden at the villa was also superb creating so many different areas to look at or admire the view from. We were also closer to to Scopello than we had imagined and were pleased with the amount of facilities that such a small town had to offer.
With regards to the website, it was also very easy to use and very informative. It was easy to narrow down the sort of villa you are looking for by choosing an option and then filtering the results to either display largest or smallest first. (...)
Overall we had a lovely, relaxing week in Scopello and really enjoyed using the pizza oven so thank you for organising our delivery of wood in advance. We would definitely use SoloSicily in future and will recommend you to friends who are considering a visit to Sicily.

We had a fabulous week at Mariuccia. The house and the setting are stunning, with views across the olive trees and the valley. The villa is both stylish and comfortable, with everything we needed and more, including a pool table. But it is really the outside space that was truly special: we watched the sun rise and set from the roof terrace, lounged and ate on the ground floor terrace with its cool shady canopies, and swam in the beautiful pool. It is a great place for a relaxing week - we really recharged our batteries and fell in love with this corner of Sicily. Burgio has a brilliant pizza restaurant, Sciacca is great for sea food and shops and the beach at Eraclea Minoa is a real find. I would not hesitate to recommend Mariuccia to anyone who wants luxury and peace in a beautiful setting.

We had a really wonderful week at Ninfea. The house was beautiful and a lot of thought had clearly gone into designing and equipping it. We were thrilled to find a few basic foods/drinks when we arrived and really enjoyed using the well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we really appreciated things such as the mosquito blinds on the windows. The owners were very helpful when we needed them and we had a magical time. In fact we felt quite disappointed with the next place we stayed during the second week of our holiday (it wasn't a soloSicily property) as it really could not compare with Ninfea! If you could find a better villa for four people I would be amazed … Pool is lovely and the outside Kitchen/BBQ area is brilliant … BBQ with a built in chimney was an unexpected bonus (...) As for Area Port Palo and Lido Fiori are lovely beaches … with great restaurants in Da Vittorio and Il Vigneto … easily accessible to Selinute,Sciacca and Temples of Valleys. Also in Menfi a lovely Pasticceria called Eurocafe on Via Antonio Ognibene (cross with Corso dei Mille) – we ended up going here every day it was that good and a lot better than the Pasticcerias on your map!!!
As for website I think its very good … and the best think about the info you sent was the incredible instructions on how to get to villa the maps were brilliant esp with photos for the hard bits. The map of Menfi with important shops etc was also an inspired idea.

We arrived a little early at the villa however Gabriele (property manager) was already there and was able to help us move in and get settled. Catarina Burkhard: "Our experience with SoloSicily and the owners of Villa Parmina was quite unpleasant.
Apparently, your definition of "luxury" is very different from ours. Villa Parmina is poorly maintained and supplied. In fact, the worst of any villa we have ever rented in Sicily.No basic supplies, the insect infestation in the kitchen, and a non-working refrigerator, to name just a few of the issues. Last minute cancellation of our first morning breakfast, which had been confirmed in writing by you-only to be told that if we expect service on Sunday we have no "common sense!"
Topping the unpleasant list, however, was the uncouth and bizarre behavior we encountered when trying to get some of said issues resolved.Arguing with us for two days straight about whether or not we were properly operating the refrigerator (!) and trying to put off even looking at it until after Mr. Gabriele's exams on Tuesday?
Which probably would have meant no replacement until Wednesday? That would have left us with no refrigerator for over half of our stay. Completely unacceptable. Communicating with both of you was bizarre, to say the least. Why pretend, Mr. Gabriele, that you are not the owner of the property, when our voucher clearly states that you are? And why pretend that your brother, sent to tell us that the refrigerator is just fine and our rotten food just a figment of our imaginations, is an appliance repairman?"

Answer from soloSicily: "This review is mostly false and unfair. It has been published by us only to show respect, professionality and transparency to the client. 
All of the "problems" occurred have been sorted out soon and efficently.
- A "welcome-pack" with basic food and drinks provided plus a bottle of champagne.
- No mosquitos whatsoever in the kitchen unless the client (as happened) leave the food (ex: brad crumbs etc...) outside during the night.
- The fridge has been replaced within 48hr from the problem occurred. Problem generated by the client who disposed to much food into the fridge (1 week shopping for 8 people all in once) freezing the air inside the fridge itself. (the cold air couldn't come out the fridge because of too much food staffed inside). We didn't charge the client for the damage caused.
- Breakfast promptly served except on Sunday when there was not staff available for working in a private self-catering villa in peak season. (The client has asked for breakfast service only a few days before arrival date)
- Gabriele is not the property owner but the owner's son who manage the house for soloSicily. The voucher is a standard document. Being Gabriele busy with his university exams we sent to the villa his brother with a professional to fix the refrigerator (afterwords changed as broken by the client and certfied by the technician).

I would like to say how pleased we were with the lovely villa Perla Nera and the stunning gardens. The pool was amazing - an example of excellent engineering and design. The hydro jets were also a pleasant surprise. The location and property are as near to perfect as you could wish for. If you had availability for the week following our holiday, we would have stayed on… and on…..and on. The property nestles in a beautiful hillside position just 5 minutes from the main Palermo road. The town of Balastrade is a further two minutes beyond the junction. The town gives you access to all the food shopping that you need, including daily fresh fish, vegatables and and incredibly knowledgable wine merchant. The beaches are OK, not as posh as the East Coast... If you’re prepared to travel a little further there are fantastic snorkeling beaches available and lovely locations in the hills above to spend time just looking... The owners were fantastic. We arrived late on Saturday and they had shopped for us. Not the usual welcome pack, they’d arranged Steaks, Sausages, Burgers for our bbq. They’d provided the charcoal and lighters, they’d even bought candles to keep the bugs away. They showed us around a Villa which they were, and had every right to be, very proud of. It has been restored over the last 5 years and both of the houses are in immaculate condition. The pool is bright and clean, and the gardens look great. We were even given permission to pick the lemons from the huge lemon tree that guards the entrance. Fresh lemonade every day, and a little something for the Gin. The kitchen is huge and very very well equipt. There are five expresso machines, if you don’t like real coffee go to Spain. Behind the villa is an Olive Grove and a Water Melon Farm (I don’t know what you call somewhere that grows water melons). The people who tend both of these have a small garden where they grow Tomatoes and Vegatables. We invited them over on the second day and they brought us fresh food everyday until we left. They were Fantastic. Absolutly everyone that we met, both at the Villa, in the local towns and in Palermo itself were incredibly friendly. Sometimes Italians can be a little stand-offish... Nothing we asked was too much trouble. Trying to speak the language certainly helps. They’re only to please to help with pronuciatioin and if you’re completely lost then pictures will help and make them laugh. Thanks for all the help in selecting the location. We’ll be needing another one in October so start thinking now!

Also the small touches of lavender under our pillows, soap in the bathroom and general supplies in the fridge and kitchen made all the difference.
The villa was great, spacious and had everything we needed. The pool and views were spectacular, the best we have had so far in our villa experiences.
We loved Sicily and is the only country to date I would visit again. Luscious is the word I would use to describe overall the sun, sea, beaches, greenery and flowers. A bit of paradise and better than the Seychelles in my opinion. When we come again we shall check your villas first as I think you are excellent at selecting luxurious villas in good positions.
So all in all a great holiday and good doing business with you!

I think I would have presented it as a luxury hotel housed in part of a large vineyard or winery with five star accommodations, in particular it's lovely pool and view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and that the wine that comes from that vineyard is award-winning. 
I appreciate the work your company did in selecting this location.
Sicily is of course very beautiful with rugged terrain and beautiful beaches. The people are very friendly and helpful, and the roads are excellent. We would definitely recommend your company to prospective clients.

“Fabulous house and an even better view. We had Sea Gate for a week for our honeymoon in July 2011. We are quite young (late 20’s/early 30’s) and are used to staying in chic/designer hotels, but for this part of our honeymoon I wanted tranquility, privacy, an element of rustic Siciliy but till some high level of luxury. Sea Gate provided that. The views are stunning, the private pool is great, the setting is so peaceful and secluded. The house itself is very quaint but also has everything you could possibly want – it’s owned by a local architect (Signore Firetto) and it certainly shows. The owner was also very accomodating – he welcomed us to the villa with the biggest fruit platter I’ve ever seen - and also some other staples to get us through our first few days (local wines/pasta/water/fresh bread etc…) and he even humored me as I practiced my pigeon Italian. Also – one mention of his name to the local shop owner meant I was getting fresh basil and lemons straight out their personal garden and the local restaurants were falling over themselves to look after us. We also had the offer to use his speedboat but didn’t have time. All in all – a great time, great house and great hospitality”

The property Tanguera, more than lived up to our expectations – it was simply stunning and a great place to stay for a few days – I would highly recommend it to anybody.
